Abstract

In the last years, there has been a major technological advance in the area of automation of embedded systems; this advance brought together the concepts are called the Internet of Things (IoT). The main idea of this concept is to integrate “things” (equipment) using sensors and actuators connected to the internet. The great difficulty is how to manage this data by integrating equipment into a system that allows the management of this information. The objective of this project was to develop an IoT Platform integrated with a wire sensor network capable of monitoring sensors and controlling actuators connected to that network. For the development of the IoT Admin Platform, we use the programming languages PHP and Javascript, the HTML markup language, a MySQL database and an NGINX server. For the development of the network, we use routers that enable the wireless connection (Wi-Fi) of various equipment through the TCP / IP protocol and the embedded system known as NodeMCU for reading sensors and sending commands to the actuators. The results generated using the dashboards (control and monitoring panel) show the data generated by the sensors and facilitates the interaction with the actuators. With that, we concluded that the IoT Admin Platform proved to be an important tool for the generation of information provided with data collected by a network of wireless sensors and equipment that need control using actuators, assisting administrators in making a more assertive decision.
